The article briefly describes the structure and contents of Goodwin's Archive, recently established in the Library of the Faculty of Economics of the University of Siena. To give evidence of the richness of its contents we reproduce the transcription of "The confessions of an unrepentant model builder" - a handwritten manuscript we found in the Archive and upon which we comment from the point of view of modern economic analysis.
