La responsabilità per danni da inquinamento transfrontaliero nel diritto comunitario e internazionale

This book concerns the principles established by international and European law in order to repair transboundary environmental damages. On the one hand, it focuses on the most important international conventions setting up a liability regimes against private parties for damages that arise as a result of their dangerous activities. Special attention is paid to environmental damage caused by oil pollution and nuclear activity. On the other hand, it looks into directive n. 2004/35 concerning environmental liability as well as the European legislation dealing with oil pollution integrating the disciplines of relevant international conventions.
