Length-frequency distribution and maturity of sand sole, Solea lascaris (Osteichthyes, Soleidae) were analysed. Specimens were collected in a coastal zone of the south-eastern Ligurian Sea, using a trammel net. sampling was carried out from May to october 2006 considering three seasons: spring, summer and autumn. the seasonal length-frequency distributions showed a similar structure.
