Twenty male rabbits, bred in two rabbitries, were used for this study. Three subsamples of each eiaculate (total 79) were used to determine the density of the semen by each procedure: Buker-camera, spectrophotometer, percent packed cell volume.Results showed that spectophotometric technique is the best workable method. Spearman rank correlation coefficients showed that, to select rabbit for sperm concentration, it is tollerable to measure the percent packed cell volume.
