We have developed a front-end electronics for the readout of Hamamatsu H8500 64 channels multi-anode Photomultiplier tube based on a dedicated active resistive charge divider network between anodes, and a fast acquisition board. The used resistive chain reduces the number of outputs from 64 down to 4 only. In this work, we present the performance study of the system in terms of spatial resolution, peak-to-valley ratio (P/V) and energy resolution for various scintillators (YAP:Ce, LYSO, NaI), pixel pitches (2.0 mm down to 1. 5 mm), and gamma-ray energy.
