Accurate modelling of electrical drives for on-line testing is a relevant problem, because of their inherent nonlinear behaviour. Efficient modelling for simulation, performance evaluation and testing must consider accurate as well as simple models. Auto-tune method is proposed to identify equivalent Hammerstein models. The effectiveness of the presented procedure is verified by experimental tests, showing that Hammerstein models overcome the limitations inherent to signal linearization procedures.

Abstract
Accurate modelling of electrical drives for on-line testing is a relevant problem, because of their inherent nonlinear behaviour. Efficient modelling for simulation, performance evaluation and testing must consider accurate as well as simple models. Auto-tune method is proposed to identify equivalent Hammerstein models. The effectiveness of the presented procedure is verified by experimental tests, showing that Hammerstein models overcome the limitations inherent to signal linearization procedures.File in questo prodotto:
