A trial to study the effect of season on growing performance of rabbits was carried out during summer and winter. Hybrids obtained by crossing NZW males and Burgindy Fawn males per local females were used. The hybrids showed the heaviest individual live weights and the worst feed conversion efficiencies during winter. The burgundy Fawn bred in summer showed the best productive performance and slaughtering rates.
