A recently discovered section in the abandoned Dagbrottet Alum Shale quarry has been investigated in detail for trilobites and conodonts. Five different trilobite zones were recognized, includding the Acerocare Zone, generally absent in south central Sweden. Conodonts are well preserved and relatively abundant. The section includes the LAD of 'Cordylodus' andresi and the FAD of 'Cordylodus' aff. andresi.

Abstract
