The article analyzes the roles of various process parameters in estimating the costs of laser and abrasive water-jet technologies in engraving work on stone, especially marble. It will analyze the parameters that can be changed to optimize production from the economic standpoint for both technologies and also make a comparison to establish which one is less expensive for the type of work examined.

Abstract

The article analyzes the roles of various process parameters in estimating the costs of laser and abrasive water-jet technologies in engraving work on stone, especially marble.
