The study area is North Coastal Etruria, in particular the territories of Pisae and Volaterrae. Relationships among climate, environment and antheropic activities can be outlined by integrated researches in a general multidisciplinary frame. Climatic variations appear to trigger floods and river instability both in the cold-humid phase and in the warm one.
