This lecture describes the meaning and importance of stability in fluid-dynamic systems, and mainly in natural circulation conditions. The student shall be able to perform the design of a natural circulation system accounting for stability, namely providing that the system is stable and, possibly, far from instability boundaries for the various operational conditions foreseen in the project.

Abstract
