An inscription from Histonium (Suppl.It., n.s., 2, 1983, pp.132 s., n.5) with a priest "Fucinalis", and a "lex sacra" from Aletrium (Suppl.It., n.s., 16, 1998, pp.45 s., n.1), with sacrifices prescribed to Fucinus among other divinities, document the transhumance routes from the Hernican country in two directions. The Aletrium tile, however, perhaps attests also the tradition of a Hernican "ver sacrum" from the Sabine mounts (sacrifice to Fiscellus) to the Marsi country (sacrifice to Fucinus), up to Aletrium.
