A RT-PO algorithm for the estimation of the Radar Cross Section of electrically large targets coated with radar absorbing materials is presented. The proposed method relies on the calculation of the reflection coefficient of the multilayer structure (metallic surface covered with the absorbing material) with a Periodic Method of Moments. The reflection coefficient of the multilayer structure is also evaluated by using a simplified transmission line model for comparison. The proposed method is applied to a metallic corner reflector partially coated with a resistive Frequency Selective Surface.

Abstract
