This article is dealing with management of financial issues by ordinary people and charitable institutions in early modern Europe, with a special focus on Northern Italy. In particular, it emphasizes the big amount of credit instruments transferred into the so-called patrimony of the poor, as a way of improving the quality of credit.
Il saggio si occupa della gestione di problemi finanziari da parte di persone comuni e luoghi pii nella prima Europa moderna, con particolare attenzione all'Italia settentrionale. In particolare, sottolinea la grande quantità di strumenti di credito trasferiti nel cosiddetto patrimonio dei poveri, come mezzo per migliorare la qualità del credito.
