In the European multicultural scenario, the evolutionary dynamics of global tourism market fluctuate in relation to the instability of geopolitical networks, which influence both international mobility flows and the post-modern tourist behavior. In this context, the European supranational role is strategic for the integrity of regional tourism markets, and also for the processes of intercultural exchange. According to this perspective, the distinctive features of a restarting tourism include new formulas of alternative tourism, such as minor tourism, to sustain a renewed systemic and relational tourism model, in a more resilient, accessible and inclusive society.
