Two small fragments of a bronze inscription found in 1905 at Susa and then lost, are identified and reconstructed as parts of a municipal charter. The fr. b widely corresponds to the ch. 87 of the "lex Irnitana" ("de iudicibus reiciendis dandis"). The fr. a perhaps concerns a municipal "iudicium publicum". As the document comes back to the early I century AD, it is by far the earliest known "lex municipalis" of a "municipium Latinum".

Abstract
Two small fragments of a bronze inscription found in 1905 at Susa and then lost, are identified and reconstructed as parts of a municipal charter. The fr. b widely corresponds to the ch. 87 of the "lex Irnitana" ("de iudicibus reiciendis dandis"). The fr. a perhaps concerns a municipal "iudicium publicum". As the document comes back to the early I century AD, it is by far the earliest known "lex municipalis" of a "municipium Latinum".File in questo prodotto:
