Abstract

In this work we propose a novel nanocomposite hydrogel formulation, composed of food waste-sourced polymers (gelatin and pectin) and nanosytems (multiwall carbon nanotubes), and produced by extrusion-based 3D printing, to lay a foundation for nanostructured 3D printed drug testing platforms.
