An extended analysis of the sensorless measurement methods adoptedfor the characterization ofsoft magnetic materials is here reported. The capability ofmeasuring non symmetric cycles and their accommodation is reported together to a discussion on the main critical aspects and limits of the presented techniques. Key question is if the capabilities of the sensorless method have been fully explored or if such a technique can be extended to the measurement of other phenomena related to the magnetic hysteresis, as the after-effect, as well as adopted for the reconstruction of hysteresis losses associated with open loops.

Abstract
An extended analysis of the sensorless measurement methods adoptedfor the characterization ofsoft magnetic materials is here reported. The capability ofmeasuring non symmetric cycles and their accommodation is reported together to a discussion on the main critical aspects and limits of the presented techniques. Key question is if the capabilities of the sensorless method have been fully explored or if such a technique can be extended to the measurement of other phenomena related to the magnetic hysteresis, as the after-effect, as well as adopted for the reconstruction of hysteresis losses associated with open loops.File in questo prodotto:
