A 16 × 16 elements mm-wave near field (NF) focused array is designed with a compact two dielectric stackup. The feeding lines, whose lengths have been initially obtained by using conjugate phase approach have been subsequently refined by considering the actual geometry of the delay lines. The feeding network is connected to radiating patches through vias. The near field electric field distribution computed by using the analytical procedure agrees well with CST results ones that the lengths of delay lines are corrected by considering realistic effects of phase non-linearity and amplitude drop.
