Pressure represents a fundamental parameter in a large number of applications. Often it is necessary to understand not only the value of the pressure but also the point at which it is applied. This can be achieved with an array of sensors. In this work, a completely wireless pressure sensor array which does not require any electronic components is proposed. The array comprises four blocks and each block is made up of a 4 × 4 periodic surface. By exploiting the different length of the resonators in each block it is possible to detect the pressure thanks to the shift of the resonance peak.

Abstract
Pressure represents a fundamental parameter in a large number of applications. Often it is necessary to understand not only the value of the pressure but also the point at which it is applied. This can be achieved with an array of sensors. In this work, a completely wireless pressure sensor array which does not require any electronic components is proposed. The array comprises four blocks and each block is made up of a 4 × 4 periodic surface. By exploiting the different length of the resonators in each block it is possible to detect the pressure thanks to the shift of the resonance peak.File in questo prodotto:
