Considering the diversity of attractions and activities in tourism, itinerary planning is being used to align visits to Points of Interest (POIs) with personal preferences. In this paper, we propose the use of DALI, an Active Logic Programming Language, in an intelligent system to plan the routes by dynamically avoiding POIs that may pose a danger to the user, based on an existing route planning system to handle pandemic-related challenges. More specifically, this paper proposes a modular DALI-based framework for real-time calculation of currently unavailable POIs and timely removal from the list of recommended potential POIs.

Abstract
Considering the diversity of attractions and activities in tourism, itinerary planning is being used to align visits to Points of Interest (POIs) with personal preferences. In this paper, we propose the use of DALI, an Active Logic Programming Language, in an intelligent system to plan the routes by dynamically avoiding POIs that may pose a danger to the user, based on an existing route planning system to handle pandemic-related challenges. More specifically, this paper proposes a modular DALI-based framework for real-time calculation of currently unavailable POIs and timely removal from the list of recommended potential POIs.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
