Abstract
The aim of this paper is to illustrate a model for the evaluation of the impacts of the agricultural policies and the territorial planning on the agricultural activities and, accordingly, on the rural landscape. The model is founded on the geographical use of the AMC with the purpose to develop scenario hypothesis and it uses a participative approach to involve the local stakeholders through focus-group and interviews. The participative approach is utilized to define the attributes and the weights for the AMC and to support the results of the analysis.. In the specific, analysis has been developed in the territory of Castiglione of Orcia (Siena) where farms are specialized in the cereal growing and, at the same time, the rural landscape is appreciated for historical-cultural and aesthetical-perceptive value. The results obtained allow to highlight the diffusion on the territory of the impacts of the decisions farm on the rural landscape and to put emphasis on the potential areas of abandonment. This can represent a valid support to the public decision maker in the definition of policies able to reconcile the local rural development and the protection / valorization of the agro-environmental resources.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
