In recent years, the transition towards servitization has increased the complexity and strategic relevance of knowledge management (KM) within manufacturing firms. This study maps and analyses the social, intellectual, and thematic structure of the literature on KM in servitization using a bibliometric approach. Drawing on a dataset of 229 Scopus-indexed publications, the analysis combines co-authorship, bibliographic coupling, and keyword co-occurrence techniques implemented through VOSviewer. The results show that the field is progressively consolidating and strongly multidisciplinary, with collaboration patterns that remain fragmented despite a relatively cohesive shared knowledge base. The thematic structure converges around three interrelated dimensions: the strategic transformation of firms through servitization, the technological enablers of product-service systems, and the KM mechanisms underpinning these transformations. The findings highlight the central and transversal role of KM as an integrative element linking business models, digital infrastructures, and organisational capabilities. By providing a structured synthesis of the field, this study contributes to a more systematic understanding of how KM is positioned within servitization research and identifies directions for future research.
