Abstract
INFN, in the frame of the Strategic Project PLASMONX, is developing New Acceleration Techniques based on Laser Produced Plasmas. The activity is carried out jointly with CNR and a few Italian Universities. The first results obtained in a collaborating small-scale laboratory (ILIL-CNR) aim to optimize the physical conditions and related diagnostics for the experiments will be soon performed in the main facility at LNF. The R&D will be open to some extent to external users, in particular for what concerns bio-medical oriented uses of sources for diagnose and therapy.File in questo prodotto:
