Sutures is an anthology of the urban design plans produced as part of the Florence Architecture Workshop. The seminar, the fruit of an idea by Fabrizio Arrigoni, Antonello Boschi, and Andrea Bulleri and sponsored by the Civil Engineering Department of the University of Pisa School of Engineering and the Department of Architecture – Design History Planning of the University of Florence School of Architecture, had as its subject the ancient village forming part of the town of San Miniato in the province of Pisa. Invited to participate were the Kent State University College of Architecture & Environmental Design, the Syracuse University School of Architecture, the Kernleerstoel Architectonische Compositie of the Technische Universiteit Delft, and Accademia di Architettura di Mendrisio of the Università della Svizzera Italiana.

Suture è il florilegio dei progetti di disegno urbano prodotti all’interno del Florence Architecture Workshop. Il seminario nato da un’idea di Fabrizio Arrigoni, Antonello Boschi e Andrea Bulleri, e promosso dal Dipartimento di Ingegneria Civile dell’Università di Pisa e dal Dipartimento di Architettura – Disegno Storia Progetto dell’Università degli Studi di Firenze, ha avuto come tema l’antico borgo dell’abitato di San Miniato, Pisa. Sono state invitate la Kent State University – College of Architecture & Environmental Design, la Syracuse University – School of Architecture, la Technische Universiteit Delft – Kernleerstoel Architectonische Compositie e l’Università della Svizzera italiana – Accademia di Architettura di Mendrisio.
