LexIt is a website to explore distributional profiles of Italian nouns, verbs and adjectives. LexIt distributional profiles contain a vast array of statistical information, automatically extracted from corpora with state-of-the-art computational linguistic methods: syntactic slots (subject, complements, modifiers, etc.) and combinations of slots (frames) with which words co-occur; lexical sets containing the fillers realizing the syntactic slot; semantic classes to describe the selectional preferences of the syntactic slots. Thanks to the statistical data associated with the information in LexIt, it is possible to analyze the combinatorial properties of lexical items and the argument structure of predicates, by identifying their most salient and prototypical distributional features.

Abstract
LexIt is a website to explore distributional profiles of Italian nouns, verbs and adjectives. LexIt distributional profiles contain a vast array of statistical information, automatically extracted from corpora with state-of-the-art computational linguistic methods: syntactic slots (subject, complements, modifiers, etc.) and combinations of slots (frames) with which words co-occur; lexical sets containing the fillers realizing the syntactic slot; semantic classes to describe the selectional preferences of the syntactic slots. Thanks to the statistical data associated with the information in LexIt, it is possible to analyze the combinatorial properties of lexical items and the argument structure of predicates, by identifying their most salient and prototypical distributional features.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
