he aim of this paper is to correlate the quality control policy with the deterioration process of a production system. The aim is to consider how the wear process of the system influences the choice of control policy parameters of the items produced, and how these parameters have to be changed according to the need of maintaining optimal working conditions. For a failure rate gamma(t) of the production system increasing linearly with the time it can be (analytically) shown how these parameters have to be changed (at different times t) in order to maintain optimal working conditions. In particular, a specific objective function of the loss time t owing either to defective units or to the production shut-down (in order to make: an inspection) will be developed and will allow us to vary the parameters over the time.

Abstract
he aim of this paper is to correlate the quality control policy with the deterioration process of a production system. In particular, a specific objective function of the loss time t owing either to defective units or to the production shut-down (in order to make: an inspection) will be developed and will allow us to vary the parameters over the time.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
