The construction industry is a complex and often underperforming sector characterized with high fragmentation, low productivity, cost and time overruns, and conflicts. Supply Chain Management (SCM) as an innovative management mode provides solutions for resolving these problems from a systems perspective. The present working paper aims to support the development of an operative risk assessment framework for a successfully implementation of Construction SCM strategy. A number of key articles in the related research streams was collected and analyzed from a risk management point of view in order to identify key risks and their impact on the project success. Finally, gaps in research are described in order to give a contribution and encourage additional works, especially in risk management area
