This paper is focused on the analysis and the simulation of a model for the received signal of a HF-OTH skywave radar. More precisely, this work aims to identify and model the main components of a HF-OTH skywave radar received signal, in order to provide a realistic simulated input that can be used as test-bed for the signal processing algorithms validation. The effectiveness of the received signal model is validated by analyzing the Doppler-azimuth spatial frequency spectrum of moving single scatterer targets immersed in sea clutter.

Abstract
This paper is focused on the analysis and the simulation of a model for the received signal of a HF-OTH skywave radar. More precisely, this work aims to identify and model the main components of a HF-OTH skywave radar received signal, in order to provide a realistic simulated input that can be used as test-bed for the signal processing algorithms validation. The effectiveness of the received signal model is validated by analyzing the Doppler-azimuth spatial frequency spectrum of moving single scatterer targets immersed in sea clutter.File in questo prodotto:
