The paper gives a summary of the results obtained from the activities carried out by Alta S.p.A. during the last 8 years for the development of hydrogen peroxide mono-propellant thrusters with advanced catalytic beds. The test results obtained on the thrusters and catalysts developed throughout the different phases of the program are presented and compared, and the lessons learned from the successes and failures of the performed activities will be highlighted. Finally, the present and intended future activities for the final development and flight qualification of a complete hydrogen peroxide propulsion system in the small-to-medium thrust range are briefly presented.

Abstract
The paper gives a summary of the results obtained from the activities carried out by Alta S.p.A. during the last 8 years for the development of hydrogen peroxide mono-propellant thrusters with advanced catalytic beds. The test results obtained on the thrusters and catalysts developed throughout the different phases of the program are presented and compared, and the lessons learned from the successes and failures of the performed activities will be highlighted. Finally, the present and intended future activities for the final development and flight qualification of a complete hydrogen peroxide propulsion system in the small-to-medium thrust range are briefly presented.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
