The geological and geomorphological survey of the southern slope of the M. S.Bartolomeo (568 m a.s.l.) led to the identification of a lanslide on which Salò was built. A detailed geomorphological map is here presented. The landslide is referreble to the Early Holocene (older than 7100 +/- 150 14C yr BP). The causes of the landslide are mainly connected to the geological structure of the area: the southern slope of the M. S.Bartolomeo slumped on the plastic Oligocene marl outcropping at the base.

Abstract
The geological and geomorphological survey of the southern slope of the M. S.Bartolomeo (568 m a.s.l.) led to the identification of a lanslide on which Salò was built. A detailed geomorphological map is here presented. The landslide is referreble to the Early Holocene (older than 7100 +/- 150 14C yr BP). The causes of the landslide are mainly connected to the geological structure of the area: the southern slope of the M. S.Bartolomeo slumped on the plastic Oligocene marl outcropping at the base.File in questo prodotto:
