The Authors report the results of the trials carried out during the Summer I983 to compare the biological activity of two pheromone blends for monitoring of the adults of the olive fruit-fly. Both of them were used for baiting yellow sticky traps. The experimentation has pointed out the higher attractivity and a very satisfactory selectivity of the pheromone supplied by the Demokritos Nuclear Research Centre of Athens (Greece).
