A set of tools for the identification of systems characterized by a static nonlinearity is introduced. Based on the approach of Billings and Fakhouri, numerical algorithms to enhance the robustness w. r. to the identification of both the linear and nonlinear part have been developed, by means of Chebychev and of Laguerre and generalized orthonormal filters.
