On behalf of all the organizers of IEEE International Instrumentation and Measurement Technology Conference (12MTC 2015), we welcome you to the historic and beautiful Pisa, Italy. This year, we have decided to make the theme of the conference "The Measurable of Tomorrow: Providing a Better Perspective on Complex Systems". The first part of the title embraces the challenge of Galileo Galilei, "Measure what is measurable, and make measurable what is not so", while the second part calls for the instrumentation and measurement community to face the increasing complexity of systems resulting from the continuous development of new technologies.
