The paper describes the first results of a selffunded activity aimed at the development of a iodine feeding system, carried out by the University of Pisa at the Department of Civil and Industrial Engineering (DICI) and at the Department of Chemistry and Industrial Chemistry (DCCI). A lumped parameter model and a 1-D fluid dynamic model of the feeding system have been developed. A first prototype of the feeding system suitable for low power (100 W) HETs has been designed and manufactured. A facility for testing the system in vacuum has been set up and described in the paper.

Abstract
The paper describes the first results of a selffunded activity aimed at the development of a iodine feeding system, carried out by the University of Pisa at the Department of Civil and Industrial Engineering (DICI) and at the Department of Chemistry and Industrial Chemistry (DCCI). A lumped parameter model and a 1-D fluid dynamic model of the feeding system have been developed. A first prototype of the feeding system suitable for low power (100 W) HETs has been designed and manufactured. A facility for testing the system in vacuum has been set up and described in the paper.File in questo prodotto:
