The performance of a multiple-input-multiple-output (MIMO) system employing circularly polarized (CP) antennas are addressed in the case of indoor propagations. In particular, the comparison between a MIMO system employing CP antennas with respect to linearly polarized (LP) ones has been carefully investigated. To this purpose a set of antennas operating in CP or LP has been designed to operate at 2.45 GHz and their most significant parameters have been preliminary analysed.
