Abstract
The importance of the choice of the physical model in computer-aided simulation of nanoelectronic devices is discussed. In particular, the effect of different alternatives on code performance and on the accuracy of the simulation results is discussed for some cases of the author’s research activity, stressing how the choice of physically equivalent descriptions can often determine a large variation in the efficiency of the simulation program.File in questo prodotto:
