Chrobase.it stores chromosome counts mainly for the Italian flora. Also counts from Corsica are being included, given the high number of endemics shared with Sardinia and Tuscan Archipelago. Specific and infraspecific taxa are stored as they were accepted in the original publications; families are added following APGIII. Future taxonomic revisions of specific and infraspecific taxa will follow "Checklist of the Italian flora", Conti et al., 2005.
