To tell stories is one of the missions of archaeology, a mission that can be better accomplished with open data. In fact, data are what economists call a non-rivalrous good, in other words, they can be processed again and again and their value does not diminish, on the contrary, the value itself arises from what the data reveal in the aggregate, namely we have the possibility to combine data, and to tell new stories, or to tell old stories in new ways. So let’s start to share archaeological data and to hear new stories!

Abstract
To tell stories is one of the missions of archaeology, a mission that can be better accomplished with open data. In fact, data are what economists call a non-rivalrous good, in other words, they can be processed again and again and their value does not diminish, on the contrary, the value itself arises from what the data reveal in the aggregate, namely we have the possibility to combine data, and to tell new stories, or to tell old stories in new ways. So let’s start to share archaeological data and to hear new stories!File in questo prodotto:
