The effect of an orthogonal magnetic field is introduced into a numerical simulator, based on the solution of the Dirac equation in the reciprocal space, for the study of transport in armchair graphene ribbons with a generic potential. Different approaches are proposed and their accuracy and efficiency is compared. The code is applied to simulate armchair ribbons with different potential profiles and to analyze the effect of an increasing magnetic field on their transport behavior.

Abstract
