In the present report an idea was launched to expand the domain of applicability of the facility to the analysis of instabilities in BWR. Scaling studies supported by computer code calculations showed the capabilities of PIPER-ONE in simulating Density Wave Oscillations (DWO). The launched project was called Boiling Instability Program (BIP) and discussed in the present report.
