The application of the current version of the Relap5 code to the experiment B-302 performed in LOBI test facility is discussed in this report. LOBI was a Pressurized Water Reactor (PWR), simulator of German 4-loop KWU-Siemens reactor, installed in the EC center of Ispra Italy supported by EURATOM. BL-12 is a Small Break Loss of Coolant Accident (SBLOCA) experiment part of the B-matrix of tests. The activity targets are: a) Further code validation – assessment b) Expanding the database of code application also in view of adopting the accuracy for UMAE and (later-on) CIAU uncertainty method application c) Training of scientists. The validation activity is performed by adopting the latest available techniques and procedures developed at UNIPI including nodalization qualification, use of acceptability thresholds and qualitative and quantitative evaluation of accuracy.
