A comprehensive and systematic evaluation of the KAERI activities within the framework of the development of the SPACE code is beyond the scope of the present review. Rather, ‘spot’ comments are provided, mostly based on the content of the presentations. The visit confirmed the high professional level of the KAERI staff in the area of thermal-hydraulics as well recognized worldwide. Comments related to the SPACE and MARS Code are sub-divided into two categories, General (G) and Specific (S), dealing with strategy of code development and with detailed modeling aspects, respectively. Comments related to ATLAS are given separately
