The research focuses its attention on the study of the italian migratory flow towards the city of Bedford : typology.trend,geographical origin,socio-economic characteristics. The dynamics of the urban settlement of our compatriots is studied ,and in particular are taken into consideration the political ,environmental and social factors that have contributed most to residential concentration and subsequently to its dispersion in the territory: marking the processes of integration and the subsequent ones of territorial segregation.
