After having outlined the mechanisms and peculiarities of the italian migration phenomenon in Great Britain from the post-World War II to the 1970s,and after tracing the geographical,demographic,economic and social characteristics of the host territory ,particular attention was also given to the analysis of expatriation procedures and collective recruitment plans in a period of post-war reconstruction and the consequent expansion of the brick industry.
