This study is the edition of the statute of the notaries of San Gimignano written in 1347; at the bottom, there is also the list of members of the association. Quantifying and identifying notaries from the 14th century, placing them in the context outli-ned by the statute, is fundamental for investigating the social and political con-text of San Gimignano.
