Nuova globalizzazione e multietnicità : i nuovi ghetti . Il caso del'Esquilino a Roma.

During the nineties ,after the structural economical reorganization of the system,started earlier during the eighties , with the liberalization and the deregulation of the global market,the new system generated new flows of migrants. At the same time it created the conditions of conflicts and competition on the labor market : the crisis of the industrial sector and of the related services led in fact to a need for ethnic concentration on the territory. Also in Rome some communities established new ethnic ghettos ,capable of protecting their own interests and their income. The Esquilino district in Rome represents an example. We can discuss about a multi-ethnic neighborhood even if only Chinese and Asian ethnic groups (Indians and people of Bangladesh) seemed to prevail over the others . The discomforts for the citizens are highlighted ,but also the forms of degradation and of social and economical problems.
