Dal multinazionale al World brand intersettoriale : le proiezioni territoriali della Dole negli anni della transizione post-industriale.

The study turns its attention to the reorganization of some elements of the capitalist system and ,in particular,studying a multinational company in the post-industrial transitional period (early nineties),such as Dole,identifies the investments aimed at building a World brand or a diversified transnational enterprise. After a brief history of the company, food operations,real estate properties with related hotel activities have been studied ; the satellite structures of Dole ,but also the evolution of the transport system. In this regard, the investments in ships and container trucks are highlighted. The role and establishment of intermodal transport and ports too . At the same time , the first "green" investments and the construction of a different image of Dole itself are studied.
