Abstract
Contemporary prohibitionist migration policies have proved apparently ineffective wherever they have been adopted. In this essay, I try to explain in a longue durée per- spective why these policies make so many migrants legally «deportable» while in fact so few of them are effectively deported. My intention is to verify in particular whether there is a correlation between the aims really pursued by State migration policies and the almost total appropriation of the global space that has taken place in quite recent times in the interrelated forms of sovereignty and private property.File in questo prodotto:
