Diseño, desarrollo y aplicaciones del Corpus LBC sobre el léxico del arte y el patrimonio cultural

This paper describes, on the one hand, the Corpus of Cultural Heritage in Spanish, which has been designed and implemented within the framework of the “Multilingual Cultural Heritage Lexis” LBC) research project, whose aim is to create a monolingual dictionary in Spanish and a bilingual Italian-Spanish dictionary, focused on the lexicon of art and cultural heritage. On the other hand, it illustrates some lemmas extracted from the corpus. First, we briefly discuss the characteristics of this specialised lexicon, and present the main features of the corpus, and its applications in the areas of specialized discourse and translation (arts, tourism, conservation); second, we provide information about the selection criteria adopted for the extraction of the lemmas, and reflect on the LBC dictionary.
